Islands themselves. He was born into a Nazarene family there and raised in
the church. Naturalized French citizens, they have raised their family of
6 boys in France.
Their current congregation is made up primarily of young families from the French Caribbean islands of Martinique and Guadeloupe. First Church attendance averages 60 on Sunday morning. |

Farag and Patricia Mikheil |
Farag and Patricia Mikheil are the pastoral family of Paris arabic-speaking
Church of the Nazarene. Farag is originally from Egypt, Patricia from the
north-east of France, a region called Alsace. They met at Bible School
at France, when Farag was a student and Patricia was the school's book-keeper!
They have two sons, Antoine and Marc.
Most of the members of this congregation are originally from Egypt, but there are also families from Lebanon, Jordan and Syria in the congregation. Paris arabic-speaking church averages 45 people in Sunday attendance. |

Joseph and Josephine Toguyera are originally from the french-speaking country of
Tchad in Africa. Members of Paris First Church, Joseph was ordained on the
France District two years ago. They are currently planting a new church in
the town of Ecouen, about 12 miles north of Paris. They have two daughters,
Sephora and Aurelie.
After two years of labor, they have a group of about 10 people who meet every 2 weeks for worship, and every week for Bible study. They hope to increase worship services this year to once every week. The Toguyera family is supported part-time by gifts from donors for church-planting in France; a 10% approved special in Missions giving. |

Daniel and Christiane Terriat |
Daniel and Christiane Terriat are the pastoral family of our newest organized church
in the city of Dreux, about 70 miles southwest of Paris. Daniel is an electrical
engineer by profession. He moves his family to this city this year in order to
plant the church. He has started his own consulting/engineering business to
provide for his family and is tithing 10% of his income to help get the new
congregation established. The Terriats have 3 children.
Sunday morning worship in this new church averages 15 people, but we believe that the Terriat's step of faith will be blessed of God in the days ahead. We have the opportunity to purchase the building they are currently renting, for only $50,000. Please pray that the Lord will lay this on the hearts of those who can be a part of purchasing this property for a Church of the Nazarene! |

The Johnstons have been missionaries for the Church of the Nazarene for 16+ years.
They served in Haiti, the French West Indies, and have now been in France
for 5 years. As well as serving as District Superintendent of the work in
France, and Director of pastoral training by extension, the Johnstons are re-planting
the Church of the Nazarene in Versailles with the help of a young French couple in
training, the Martinez.
After two years of investment, the new congregation averages 20-25 in Sunday morning worship. |

Jean-Louis and Ann Martinez |
Jean-Louis and Ann Martinez are helping to plant the church in Versailles with the
Johnstons. They have two children and are originally from Montpellier in the
south of France. Jean-Louis is a social worker by profession. They are
supported in part-time ministry as church-planters by gifts from Nazarenes in the
States.
Jean-Louis has completed the ministerial training and hopes to be ordained in the next couple of years. The Versailles annexe is also available for the purchase price of $120,000. This property is currently rented by the church, and provides space for Sunday school, Bible study and fellowship times. WE REALLY NEED TO PURCHASE THIS PROPERTY, TOO. |
