Chairman's Corner - George Stalter
About a year ago the youth in the church I attend decided to do a mission project in June. Young people and adult advisors would do practical projects to improve the facilities of a mission outreach in a rural part of a neighboring state.
As missions chairman, I had hoped for a number of years we would initiate and carry out a project like this from within our own church. As planning progressed I became more excited and ready to go. I prayed that everyone could go that wanted to and that God would put a fire in everyone’s heart for helping others.
The mission trip took place as planned and everyone was enthusiastic about the work. There was already talk about another trip "next year".
Over twenty-two years ago one person had a fire in his heart to help others all over the world through training others and repairing planes for mission aviation. Today we have a growing number of people at MMS with a burning desire to help others know God loves them and offers eternal life.
Here at MMS we need your prayers that God will give us the ability to do the things He wants us to and will keep the fire burning in our hearts to help others.

Prayer and Praise
Prayer...
Dale and Deborah Coates are taking a three month furlough to visit family, friends and several churches in England and Zimbabwe. Pray for safe travel and for good adjustment to the time changes.
Continue to pray for those involved in initial partnership development. They are Keith Dodson, Dan and Angie Rice, Andrew and Tammy McCain, Chris and Dana Abernethy, Mike and Clare Hoffner, and Ryan and Rachel Joy.
Please pray that every MMS member will strive to "live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way". (Colossians 1:10).
Praise...
For the safe return of Darryl and Roseanne Gingerich and their family from their year in Peru. We are glad to have them back at MMS.
Ryan and Rachel Joy were accepted as approved candidates in November. Ryan’s goal is to serve in missions as an aircraft maintenance specialist.
We are pleased to have Ron Daughtery join the MMS board. Ron is a pilot with United Airlines and lives in Mansfield, Ohio. Pray for him and all the board members for wisdom as they continue to lead us.
