CHAIRMAN’S CORNER - George Stalter

Easter - a time of sadness and of joy. The sadness is that Jesus had to go through a terrible death on the cross to wash away our sins with his blood. The joy is that Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." - John 14:6

Does this mean if we believe in Jesus, and accept him as our savior that we can sit back and relax? Jesus also challenged his disciples to go spread the good news of God’s love for each one of us. I feel we cannot sit back and relax. Missionaries and transportation for them are needed more than ever throughout the world. We must be alert to the needs of others, whether it is someone half way around the world or a next door neighbor.

Even with low inflation, costs still go up each year, so we strive to be as efficient as possible. But it is loyal friends who support our effort and prayers that give us strength that enables us to accomplish our task.
