Bible Reading International came into being in 1991 to encourage the public reading of the Bible. You will find here a very unique plan to read the whole Bible aloud in 15 minutes. Download the file and pass it around. Let the Word Be Heard!

For Most of history the Bible was read to people more than it was read by people. Those who could read were expected to read the Bible to those who could not. It was not assumed that everyone would or should learn to read and write.

In recent history, the rise of literacy has supported a decline in public reading. The Bible says that faith comes by hearing and yet many people hear very little of the Bible read aloud.

BRI is committed to the promotion of public Bible Reading by whatever means the Lord provides. You will find at this site a data base listing 375 scripture references which can be used in a number of ways to read the entire Bible out loud! thescripture list is provided in Microsoft Works 3.0 format.
