Read the Whole Bible in 7 Days

Fifty-four people can read the scripture references (the whole Bible) in seven days. One person can read the approximately 2205 words in each reading in only 15 minutes at 147 words a minute. The final readings in both the Old and New Testaments are shorter than the others. Churches or other groups may complete a reading of the entire Bible in one week (or once a week) by assigning every seventh scripture as a starting point.

The scripture references should be printed and then given to those who choose to participate. If you give an entire set of scriptures references to each reader, your group can read the entire Bible every week.

Suggestions for use:

• Use the same translation for all the readers. (This is not absolutely necessary, but it will give consistency.) The divisions for the readings come from the King James Version, but the references will work with any translation.
• If you have more than 54 people who want to participate your group will complete the Bible more than once a week.
• Your group can read the entire Bible every day if 378 people will comniit to the readings.
